Emblem Removal Tips.

Emblem removal can be done with no damage to your car.

Using only one side of your squeegee carefully force squeegee
behind emblem. Go around entire emblem, not just on one side
or end. Start by going shallow at first until emblem starts lifting off.
Some Emblems on the older mustangs are held on using clips
or screws. Late model mustangs use adhesive tape.

Clean off adhesive residue with a naphtha base cleaner
to remove all adhesive residue.
Note: Always test any solvent or cleaner before using on an area
of your car that won't show, to test compatibility.

You can buy 3M plastic and trim adhesive
to reinstall the emblem at any large auto parts store.
